My 27th Birthday

I had an unexpected birthday suprise brought to my attention the night of the 7th. I was with a group of great friends from my ward and we had been talking about how we met our husbands and what things they have done for us. I was mentioning to them that I hadn't had a really great romantic suprise in a while. Then sure enough when I got home at midnight that night Trent had left a packing list on my pillow. I then woke him up and asked where we were going. Then he told me that we were to leave the next morning by 11am. Luckily he had set up a place for the girls to go but I of course was to pack and then get the house picked up before and find our passports. It was quite the morning.

We had been looking into going on cruise for a couple of months but never would follow through. It would be our first one and so Trent decided to suprise me for my birthday and Valentines Day to take me away for a 3 day cruise to Ensanada, Mexico. We did a small one for our first and that was enough. We ended up on the Carnavial Paradise, which is known as the party cruise line, who knew? It was very interesting to see and watch people. Their was alot of entertainment and things to do. We just relaxed and ate alot of food.

Being that I am pregnant I told my friend, Amy, from my ward and I had dropped off the girls with her before we left and she gave me seabands. THANK YOU for those! I thought I would be fine on a boat but to my suprise I got a little sick and then I would put those bands on and they actually worked for the most part. It was so weird to be on a boat and feel and see it rocking back and forth while you were inside. When I went outside it was alot better.

Thank you Trent for a wonderful weekend! We tend to get away at least 4 times a year for a weekend and I definatly recommend it for married couples. Its a time for us to see what our future holds for us and look at where we are together and see what we can work on.
