My new ward threw me a shower as well. My visiting teacher and Bishop's wife, Deon McMaster, hosted it at her beautiful home in the backyard which at 9am was already too hot so we ate outside on the nicely decorated tables and then moved inside to the AC home to open the gifts.
Amy Romney took over the game part and we each had to write down an answer to a question she asked us and then she used our answers to put together a story called, "Sarah's Adventure in Birthing." We also played the "Baby Animal Name Game" which their are about 45 different animals named on the paper and you have to write down as many baby names of theses animals that you knew. It was pretty hilarious at what the actual names of some of them were. For example: Turtle is hatchling, ant is antling, bird is nestling, fox is kit, gorilla is infant, pigeon is squab just to name a few.
I got spoiled I got 3 handmade quilts! Changing and Diaper/Wipe handmade covers thanks to my sister-in-law, Hope. Diapers and wipes, many boy outfits, 1st basketball outfit, onsies, baby bathtub, first aid kit, wagon with toys, his 1st Thomas the Train toys, pjs, onsies, etc.
I also recieved money to put towards my new crib! I appreciated all who came to enjoy this day with me! I felt spoiled and loved all by my dear sisters! Thank you, Thank you!

My facial expressions are quite silly so excuse them! My SIL Susan was taking them and she was sitting at a bad angle! Yikes! I deleted alot of them but I saved some for you to laugh at!
The last picture was a gift that I recieved last from Amy Romney. She gave birth to a baby boy in January of this year but lost him days later. I posted in January about her and Matthew. Anyway she gave me a stack of diapers with this letter on the front of it:Dear Baby Easton,
Since I wasn't there long enough to use all of my newborn diapers, I wanted to divide them up between all of my friends born this year. Mommy says all of her friends that have babies in 2008 should get a little piece of me. Anyway, I think it will be fun one day to find out if we kicked it together in the pre-mortal existence. Be good down there.....you have a great family and an awesome mommy!
