The girls, Tyler and I took the Trax train over to Temple Square and went on some tours today. I grew up in this area and I feel like I missed out on alot of things I didn't get a chance to do. I remember going to the Beehive house once when I was a kid but I don't remember it very well. So that was our first stop and we had a great tour and the girls did wonderfully and loved looking at all the old artifacts and items of that time period.
Next we stopped off by the Lion House Resturant and they were serving shaved ice/ice cream in commemoration of the 4th of July coming up. We each got a pina colada, cherry and a blueberry flavor. Such a cute and tasty treat! It was the best shaved ice I had ever had.
Then we headed over to the Church Office Building and went up to the top floor and got some great shots of the city. Salt Lake City is beautiful in the summer time but its been really HOT!
Finally our last stop was to the south visitors center where they have all the information about the SLC Temple and then also about the importance of families. The girls loved to watch the kid segments of the videos.

Oh, I miss going to Temple Square and all the surrounding sights. We LOVE the rolls at the Lion House. Happy house hunting :)
