My drive down to my monthly service at the temple as a receptionist I played the Mormon Tabernacle Choir to set the mood for my morning. I cannot tell you just how much I just ENJOY listening to these wonderful voices. It brings me so much peace and tranquility I just can't get enough of it.
The one song that stood out to me in my situation was "Love is Spoken Here" which talks about children who see their mother kneeling in prayer. I have thought alot about my prayers in the last few weeks and the need of more indepth and detailed ones. But more importantly I felt a deeper desire to have my spiritual connection with my Heavenly Father increased and to show my children by example that I really do love him. I need to open the door to let him in and feel of his love for me as his daughter.
As I sat in the temple for hours I just beamed because I knew this is where I needed to be today and with the experience I had last time I served in the temple I look forward to many more like those to help me recognize that the Lord truly cares about me and IS there and he IS watching over me. I have recognized his hand in my life and I pray I can do the same for him to help those around me recognize his hand in their lives.
