Bates Nut Farm

Each year around Halloween time we go to Bates Nut Farm and because I despise Halloween so much this is a wonderful treat because......

maze
animals
and
Pumpkins galore!

Its just a great start to kick off a wonderful October and to celebrate the Harvest time of the year. Not that I harvest anything of course but hey I've learned that Halloween can be a time to celebrate the harvest and what we have to share.

I don't like the scary, googly-eyed, bloody, nonsense that Halloween tends to be about. Which this year I've heard that the Halloween stores sell bloody eyed little babies! What in the world! Thank goodness I didn't step and have never stepped into one of those stores.

Trent and the girls didn't make it this year so Easton and I went on a little date together with some friends from church.
