Monster Truck Show

We were invited by one of Trent's friends to attend the Monster Truck show down at Qualcommn stadium. The kids were thrilled and Trent prepped them with highlights from other shows that were pretty fun to see.

Once we got down there it was a sold out crowd and can I just say that this crowd was unique and really enjoyable to watch. I felt like I was watching Nacho Libre at times with some of the things people were wearing supporting their favorite monster truck drivers.

The first hour and half was the qualifying races so it was pretty boring but once they started the free for all started to spice up a bit but only a bit. It wasn't anything compared to the highlight videos that Trent had shown the kids.

The highlight I'm sure was them talking Trent into buying cotton candy of all things. Gross! We payed $8 for just sugar but hey the kids enjoyed it for about 1/2 hour.

Easton fell asleep about 2 1/2 hours into it and Paetan was bored so we ended up leaving early but hey now we can say that we've been to a Monster truck show.

They were advertising the motor-cross races that will take place in February now I could sit through something like that.
