Day Two

The beautiful beach outside our resort

The KFC had a cup holder that was a great invention we thought

Iguana crossings were all throughout the resort

We woke up and Trent went to his meeting with the Tucker group at 9am. I went out for a little walk along the boardwalk and then went into the fitness center and did a few weights. I went out to the pool area until lunch time. I finished the book "The Alcamist" which I was supposed to finish about 2 months ago for a book club my sister-in-law is trying to start. So now Susan I can participate now that I have finished it. Its was a very interesting book that made me really use my brain to keep track of what I was reading and trying to understand it all. If you have watched "The Secret" the book talks about how to use it in our lives.

I met up with Trent and the guys for lunch at Marabella one of the 12 resturants that they have at this resort. The food was good but the conversation was just about work stuff so I headed out a little earlier then the rest of them to go start another book by the pool.

That afternoon Trent and I took the car out and drove down to Luecuillo Beach. Its one of the hottest beaches on the island but we went to the wrong area because it was covered with trash and so we walked along it and went around the bend of an area and that area was the beach that we were supposed to go to. Oh well we had a nice walk/run along the beach. We then went over to Faquio Mall to look for some board shorts for Trent and ended up buying them at the Wal-Mart there.

In Trent's group we met a couple Gene Hammond and Stephanie Darbam and we connected with them instantly. They are from Pennsylvania. We found out that Trent and Gene have alot in common, they like fast cars, SVT cobras to be exact they have the same one and they also like to play with Flight Simulator.

That night we met up with the group and went kyaking! Gene and I were so nervous about it because it was at night and they also teased us that alligators were going to be around us. So we ended up having the time of our lives and I am so glad that I went. We went to an area in Puerto Rico were you will see bio luminesance. Which is a glow in the water caused by living organisms that live there. This particular bay lagoon that we kyaked too is one of 4 in the world that you can see it glow all year round. It was so neat to see us paddeling and seeing a glow behind our paddle. It was fun also to kyake. I want to get one now! We left the hotel around 9pm and got back around midnight.
