Memorial Day Weekend

All the family went over to Gary and Kelly's for our annual basketball, BBQ and swimming Memorial Day get together. We began with all the boys washing cars and then they went to play basketball. I was going to play but decided to blog instead and fix my website. How do you like it? Then we went swimming and I took these pictures of the girls and Trent. I didn't get into the water I just relaxed and layed out. Then we had our lunch/dinner BBQ.

Later after our BBQ Gary started to read in the newspaper about Memorial Day and was telling us some ideas we could do to have a memorable holiday. Then he preceeded to tell us a an emotional story about a German soldier in WWII and how his life was spared by 3 bullets. He prayed to the Lord that his life would be spared so that he could continue here on earth. Later on in life he became a member of the church and recognized the Lords hand in sparing his life but at the time it didn't make sense to him but now that having his quesitons answered he now knows why.
