Babysitting and Garage Sale

It was quite the weekend for us! We were pretty much living over at Gary and Kelly's house because we had to babysit for them while they went out of town. So I was able to ask Kelly if I could have a garage sale at her house while they were gone. They have a prime spot to have one and she agreed and so I was prepared for it on Thursday and Friday and was marking all the items I had.

On Saturday the sale began at 7am but I had people their at 6:40am. So I was able to have some of them help me take out tables and put them onto the driveway. One person noticed Kelly's record player that she has been trying to sell for years and he wanted it so I called her and it was sold just like that! Then they had their old Expedition wheels in the garage and people were asking us about them and so those were also sold. So it ended up that we went to our house to get our tires but it was too late nobody wanted ours. Oh well we tried! So Gary and Kelly ended up making more money then us with selling their two items but I sold about 3/4 of my stuff and got rid of it. So I was happy enough!

After the sale we had a U-haul truck that Trent had used to bring back his Utah office furniture a few days before and so we took advantage of it and packed up all the boxes and bins in our garage and moved them over to the new house and put them into the storage room. But first we had to pressure wash our garage and storage room. So we worked on the all afternoon on Saturday. It was a long day and I was tired! But now I feel like I am a little lighter with that load off my shoulders and so now we pretty much have all of our furniture we need to move over there when we have final inspection.
