Short Sale Genius Invitational was held here at the Shorebreak Hotel in Huntington Beach, CA. We went up as a family together and stayed for 2 nights and while Trent was in his meetings all day. The kids and I spent our days lounging around and of course on the beach right across the street. I had never been to Huntington Beach before my whole time I have lived here and has quite the cute little downtown area. We went for a drive around the area and the homes you can tell were old but alot of them were remodeled to fit the new design of homes these days and it was fun to see a great mixture of styles with wide streets.
I tried to go into all the little shops around the hotel area but the kids wouldn't allow me to have more then a few minutes to browse and that was it. Its in these times where work is involved where I had wished I had just got a babysitter for the kids because they didn't get to see their dad very much but then again it was great to have them at the same time.
I've come to realize that I am a little spoiled when it comes to getaways and travel. I have been very blessed to go with Trent on many occasions to his "events" and just enjoy myself and maybe learn a thing or two from their conversations and seminars. So this trip was a humbling experience for me to say the least because I take full advantage of those times away just to spend with him.
