Reeghan's Recycling Project

Let's be honest here I helped Reeghan find this project for her to do and pretty much made it myself. Have many of you mom's out there have done that for one of your children before? I wanted her to take part so all she did was use the scissors to help cut it up. She didn't take the time on the internet thinking of a practical use of a recycled item for 1 hour! Sheeze! I did so much and now I feel awful but she did write up the information of how it was used and what it was made out of.
All I did was take target plastic bags and make a flower out of it. The next day Reeghan took it to school and she wore the flower pinned to her shirt. The other one I used to place on top of a gift. Its practical and I don't think that I would personally use it yet. I really haven't jumped on the recycle wagon yet but I'm trying and especially now that Reeghan is more aware because of what she has learned at school. Last summer she came up with a clever Recycle song. I recorded it and I love to replay it and to see how much she knew about it and her love for creating a song out of something she was learning. Next up is her Earth Day Play!
