Sarah's 2006 Goals

This year I will be turning 25 years old. I have accomplished much in my life but I have yet to really conquer some of my goals. This is the year!

How can I fulfill my calling in life as a wife, mother, sister and daughter?
*Read personally and as a family the sciptures each morning before Trent leaves for work
*Prayer personally and as a family morning and night
*Have an experience with prayer similar to the brother of Jared and find a special spot where I can go and pour out my heart to God and to listen
*Plan wholesome activities during the day time for my girls
*Plan each Monday night for our Family Home Evening
*Attend the temple on the 2nd Friday night and the 4th Saturday morning
*Fulfill my Primary duties and be an example to the children of our ward and prepare prayfully the lessons that I will teach to them
*Save the money I would spend eating out and put it towards monthly family activites found in the Living in Style Magazine
*Plan our date nights each week
*Calendar all our events for the year

How can I maintain my 135lb body weight but at the same time trim and tone my body frame?
*I will run a 10K on March 11th
*I will run another 10K on July 24th in Salt Lake City
*I am going to run a marathon on October 7th in St. George
*I will do ball and strength exercises Monday and Thursday
*I am participating in church ball once a week on Thursday night
*I will monitor what goes in my mouth

How can I learn how to make enjoyable meals for my family every day?
*On the laptop download the Cook'n software so its available to me in the kitchen
*Use my Weight Watchers e-tools to help create meal plans
*Make the menu for the week on Monday night after family night
*Watch the food network on TV
*Dream Dinners quarterly

How can I learn more about interior design and create a comfortable atmosphere for my family in my home?
*When I go to the library with the girls pick out an interior design book to check out
*Read the Pottery Barn Design Library
*Go through magazines for ideas for our next home
*Find an online class to take on the side
*Watch design shows on TV
*Go on model home trips the first Saturday of each month
*Attend all the parade of homes shows in 2006
