We took all the cousins to Bates Nut Farm in Valley Center, CA which is about 15 miles east of us. The farm houses some animals and each year around Halloween time they have fun things for the children to do. They also grow pumpkins there as well and this year we went on a hay ride around the pumpkin patch and then they shared with us how a pumpkin grows and the many different kinds of pumpkins there is. We then did a maze for the kids and I got in charge of taking Sydney and Paten around which are 2 yrs old and their wasn't much for them to do but run around so it was pretty easy. We got to take a little pumpkin home with us this time.
