First Day of Kindergarten

Reeghan woke up this morning and the first thing she said to me was, "Today is school day!" She was ready to start. She is going to a charter school that is dual language where she will learn Spanish 80% of the day and the other 20% will be in English. I am excited for her to speak, write and read in Spanish. This will also be a benefit for me as well because I will learn right along with her hopefully. Thank goodness we already have a spanish speaker in the home to help her practice.

She already met a spanish speaking friend at school but she said she couldn't remember her name. They have to wear certain clothing to school which makes it easy for us to get ready in the mornings. They aren't so strict though all they need is a collared plain shirt with khaki, navy or jean pants, shorts or skirts. So I have alot of options. We do have to take a lunch everyday which is hard with Reeghan because she only likes certain things, no surprise right with a child? But we will manage I suppose.
