Hawaii - Day Seven

Our Beach Day was today in which we went up towards north shore and went to our 1st beach HukiLau beach in Laie by BYU-Hawaii. This was a nice beach that had great boogy boarding waves which Ryan and Trent were happy about. While they played in the water Easton and I took a nice stroller ride towards the temple grounds. It was just so nice and peaceful to just go off by myself and think and admire the area and its creation. I am looking forward to actually going inside the temple.

The second beach we went to was Turtle beach but only stayed there long enough to see the turtles because the waves were pretty rough and they wouldn't let you swim in the water anyway.

The last place for the day was Sharks Cove. This was an awesome spot for the little kids. Paetan actually finally got into the ocean water at this place because it would only go waist deep on her. Besides its a great shallow cove with rocks surrounding it so it was smooth and warm water.

Reeghan spent the day at PCC with Delma and my sister Leslie and Conner who came into town for a couple of days so she wasn't with us all day but we had to spot back over in Laie to go pick her up. Once we got there we headed out of town only about 3 miles or so until we were forced to turn around and go back the way we had come from because there was a fatal accident on that only highway back to Kailua. Apparently two marines were driving a 7 ton truck and went head on into a minivan and killed a civilian. So it ended up taking us 2 hours to get back to the house. It was a very long night.
