A Whole Lot of Stuff

Trent and I have had alot of changes happen in the last 2 months. But the most important one happened in regards to our living arrangements. We left our home in San Marcos and decided to rent a furnished condo in downtown Salt Lake City until August 31st. I was originally going to spend one month in Utah anyway so Trent said why not just find a place and live for the summer.

It has been a stressful yet humbling last 2 weeks! I have been a little crazy in regards to packing up my home that I have lived in the last 2 years almost and realizing that I had accumulated alot more "things" that I had to fill my home with. Then packing it all into boxes and putting my stuff into portable storage crates that get dropped off, packed then stored. Its a great service and I am going to use it each time I move because it was so easy and simple to do.

To top off the whole last 2 weeks Trent and I were asked to give talks in our last sacrament meeting with our ward. Our assigned topic was Service and I personally have been given service opportunities to help those with needs the last 2 weeks and during those times I realized that my problems weren't so bad and that I went back to my family rejuvenated to continue and to just press forward.

I have had a wonderful time serving also as a ward missionary. I have had amazing experiences with the Sister missionaries in my ward and with those they come in contact with. My testimony has been strengthened and I have enjoyed my time serving my little mission with them.
