Its not everyday you get an email like this from your parents!
This email is coming from Taipei, Taiwan. We have been to Hong Kong, Manila and Taipei Temples. We are on our way to the Fukuoka Japan Temple. From there we will go to Seoul Korea , then to Detroit on Sunday and on to Atlanta. Monday we will be heading to Guayaqui Ecuador and back to Atlanta Wednesday morning. That is as far as we have planned. (Assuming all the connections will work out).
Everything has worked out perfect so far. The Lord has truly been with us in helping us find our way and get our airline flights (The flights were oversold but we were able to get on each of them so far) We have met some wonderful Saints in all the areas. We will have tons of stories (as always) when we return.
We love you all and hope everything is good at home and you are all well.
We'll get in touch when we get into the states again.
LOVE,
MOM AND DAD
My parents are temple hoppers and have been doing it for quite sometime now. They both are teachers and take their holidays and summers to just travel the world to go to the church temples. Our church has built 132 temples and my parents on my last count was at 90 but I am sure its close to 97 now.
They are inspirational to me and they only take a carry on with them and are on limited sleep and maybe even food. Who knows. But I love them for it.
I appreciate them showing my children their love for temple work and their sacrifice to be away from family to help others. My parents truly are service minded individuals.
I called my Grandma Peterson the other day (my dad's mom) and talked with her. Each time I talk to her she tells me how much she loves my parents and the example they have set for her and how much they serve her. I am ever so grateful for their silent example of service, they don't need praise or recognition for it.
Love you Mom and Dad!
