San Diego Hall of Champions
To continue on with our "Chapman's are Champions" we went to visit the Hall of Champions museum downtown at Balboa Park. Certain museums are free to san diego county residents on Tuesdays of each month. It just so happened that this particular week this museum was free.
It was actually a small museum I was kind of disappointed and their was more words than visuals but I guess these types of places aren't necessary "little kid" friendly. Easton, the girls and I breezed through the museum and talked about the various types of sports and noted certain athletes that helped improve their sport to make them champions.
We went into the baseball section and I was hoping to find a "Easton" baseball bat but no such luck they only have Louisville Sluggers and Rawlings. I wanted to get a picture of Easton and the bat.
San Diego Automotive Museum
Easton loved this museum all he kept chatting away the whole time through was, "Car, Car, Car!" It was awesome to see his delight and the expressions on his face. They of course weren't able to touch any of them but they did have an explore section of the museum that was designed just for kids.
They had a car they could sit in that just had the frame of the car so that the kids could see the insides of the car. They also had a motorcycle that they could sit on. This museum was a quickie one as well.
We ended up staying there for only 1.5 hours because Easton was done of course. The girls were bummed out that we didn't get to go to the Air and Space Museum. Maybe next time!

Your family is so cute. I will be up front and honest with you...the three of us are terrible at updating our blogs. It is always a New Year Resolution unrealized!
But thanks for finding me...I'll send the girls your way!
Awesome job setting up the retreat! I want to hear all about it. Good Luck!
Jamie mentioned that she heard from you and I wanted to pop over to your blog and say hello!
Your retreat sounds awesome!! I can't wait to hear all about it, and of course, wish I could be there... I have family in Southern Cali though, so I will pass on the info for this!
Love your blog btw, and tell Susan I said hello. I really loved you guys!
