Wedding Day

September 28, 2001 - October 4, 2001
MY WEDDING DAY
My family and I stayed at a hotel in Rancho Bernardo and the morning of my wedding day I made sure I had a nice breakfast and I ironed my dress. Whitney did my makeup and Rebecca did my hair that morning. Trent came to pick me up in the red truck at 9:30am to go to the San Diego Temple

I got ready in the brides room and my mother was their with me and not soon after my mother-in-law and grandmother's came in also. It was such a joy to have all four of these ladies in that room with me watching me get ready. It was nice to see Trent waiting for me patiently and I will always remember his face when he saw his new beautiful bride. The temple sealer then took us aside and go to know us a little better. Then came time for the sealing and I really hate to be the center of attention and when we came into the room everyone was already their waiting for us and so all eyes were on me. As we looked into eachother's eyes we both knew what we were doing was something new and exciting and we were ready to take that step. We recieved great counsel about families and the importance of family in our lives. It was great to see each of our families get to know one another and realized that we are all in it together and that the Lord really does watch out for each one of us and blesses us with wonderful family members.
As we took pictures after it was just great to see our whole family together. Trent and I got dressed out of our wedding clothes and I beat him out of the dressing room.

All the families met up for lunch at Hometown Buffet for lunch and then Trent and I went over to our new apartment to take a short nap. That night at our reception in Oceanside it was a little chilly and wet but was fun at the same time with dancing and singing.

Our honeymoon started at a beach house in San Clemente that belongs to his Uncle Don that was awesome being able to be a the beach and waking up each morning to the sounds of the waves and to Trent. We continued our trip to Las Vegas and stayed at Excalibur casino. Las Vegas isn't my favorite spot in the world but we made it fun especailly going to the temple. We then drove up to my parents place and their had an open house.
