We had drove to Reno, NV to check out lots in the area to build and we went to church there. The RS lesson for that day was "Mother's in Isreal" and Trent and I had been talking about starting our family but until this day came I knew my answer. We never used the excuse that we were waiting to afford it because we knew that once we got started the Lord would help if we continued to be worthy of his help. But the part of the lesson that day that really struck me was President Benson counseled, "Do not use the reasoning of the world it is not pleasing in the sight of God....Material possesions, social convience, and so-called professional advantages are nothing compared to a righteous posterity. In the eternal perspective, children - not possessions, not postition, not prestige - are our greatest jewels."
