Parade of Homes 2006 - St. George

We left as a family for St. George on the 16th and drove to Mesquite and stayed overnight in the Oasis Casino. It was pretty gross and we could hear people all around us. The next morning we drove to St. George and met up with Rebecca and got our tickets for the home show at the mall.

We began by looking at homes 1-5 then took a break and went to Ryan and Susan's house. Reeghan took a nap and so we went out again and looked at homes 6-11. That night Sean and Allie came down and we had a little birthday party for Joseph who turned 2.

The morning of the 18th my parents came down with Rebecca from Cedar City and my mom took my girls back with her to Cedar City to Rachael's house for the day. Rachael is due any moment now so we are all hoping it happens while we are here. That day we looked at homes 16-25 it was quite the tour especailly home 23 it was a competition of the dream home I hope to have one day but I of course don't need it 6,000 sq ft. Thats too big. But this home was amazing! Out in the middle of nowhere outside St. George. That night we headed back to Cedar City to pick up the girls and hung out at Rachael's house.

The 19th was Sunday and went to Ryan and Susan's ward and it was quite the sacrament meeting. We were cramed into the chapel their ward is so big. They had to have people sit in the choir chairs. The sacrament took about 25 min and they also had 2 baby blessing to perform. So the talks didn't start until 50 minutes after the meeting started! It was quite the meeting. Afterwards we headed back up to Cedar City and it started to snow about 10 miles outside and I of course get nervous in the snow and so it reminded me of the night back at Thanksgiving when we drove home where we hit black ice with Rachael. I probaly had an anxiety attack or something cause I almost didn't make it to the bathroom. Anyway we had chicken cassarole for dinner that my Grandma Peterson makes it was sooo good! It brought back memories. Shayna and James were also their at Rachaels along with Leslie and Conner so we had a great time hanging out.

On the 20th my dad came back down to St. George to view some more homes and we saw homes 11-16 and walked again through 3 and 6. They are so beautiful we took a ton of pictures. It was a fun trip! Posted by Picasa
