4th of July and Swim lessons

I failed to take pictures of America's birthday! Oops! It was a pretty low key day Trent began the day playing basketball with his brothers. Afterwards we stayed and had a swim/BBQ with his family.

The girls are currently taking swim lessons and Reeghan has become quite the little fishy! She can swim around the whole pool now and can jump into the deep end. She is making remarkable progress! She is now learning the freestyle stroke which will hopefully help her out because she gets too excited to swim that she takes too many breathes with her digs.

Paetan on the other hand is taking her sweet little time! She is still at the stage where she is putting her face into the water but not emerging her whole head in. The only way I look at it is that its better that we go slow then freak her out. Time will come that she will just embrace it and enjoy her time in the pool!

We are enjoying this summer especially me! I feel like this is the time to cherish with only 2 children because reality will set in when this baby boy enters our world and my life will sure change! I am excited but nervous at the same time! My feelings change day to day but I know that I am doing all I can as a mother and I will put it together once he comes!

The night of the 4th we went over to Josh and Dianna Barton's house to hang out with their group of friends and watch fireworks which happened to be right next to the show! It was a great view and it was very loud that it scared Paetan and a few other little kids. Reeghan stayed out and watched with us but Paetan wanted to stay inside and just play with toys. Thank you to the Barton's for a fun night we were grateful for the invitation to hang and relax!

Trent and I experienced our first plug at the game Guitar Hero at their place! Trent is a natural but me on the other hand struggled a little bit! I am much better at dance moves then musical instruments thats for sure! Trent is tempted to go out and buy it now! But until then we will just have to make a date night to the Barton's!
