Hawaii - Day One

We begun our 11 day trip to Hawaii today and we will be staying on the island of Oahu in the city Kailua until October 28th! I am so excited but at the same time we are traveling with our children so I was a little nervous about the flight.

As usual Easton was amazing and did very well but on the other hand Paetan just couldn't sit still and the entertainment system that the airline provided didn't have much of a kid friendly selection. So her attention span didn't last long and played musical seats with Reeghan. We brought along our good family friend, Delma Gomez, and she was helping me out alot. It really wasn't bad as I thought it would be and the flight went pretty fast for me.

We arrived and got the car and cruised over to our rental home in Kailua. We also brought along Ryan and Sean's families too. They are Trent's brothers who are in his business with him. The trip is also a business one the guys will be doing two seminars in Honolulu and also Kona on the other island.

The home we rented is perfect for the children and all of us we have 8 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with a pool. Its a really great setup for all three families to share as well as Delma. The home is a little old but its sufficent for our needs. We surveyed the home once we got here to decide the situation of the sleeping arrangements and then off to the pool we went. That night the girls went to Costco to go do the grocery shopping while the guys stayed back and watched the children. That night we crashed around 8pm because of the time change.
