Does this need to happen?

Since being here in Utah we have already made a trip to the ER at Primary Children's hospital! I was out buying items for my HS 10 year reunion and walked in the house to Easton crying and vomitting and Trent was washing him off in the kitchen sink. Come to find out that Reeghan had sat him on her bed to read him a book and she got into reading that she forgot about him and he crawled off and hit his head on the hardwood floor.

Trent had a lunch meeting to go to so he left and Easton started to fall asleep so I put him in his bed and then about 1.5hours later found him in bed with his vomit! Lovely! So I cleaned him up and just held him for a while and then he began to throw up viol! (sp?) it was yellowish and that freaked me out so I called Trent right away. Luckily he was in the elevator coming home so we decided to take him to an InstaCare here in SLC. We got there and waited and waited and come to find out they don't have a CT scanner so they wouldn't have been able to help us anyway so they told us to drive up to the ER at Primary Children's hosptial.

We got there and to make a long drawn out story short we were there for 4 hours and his scan turned out negative! It was so hard to see this little boy all snug and straped down on the bed getting ready for his scan but at the same time he was so cute and just had this worried look on his face and wondering what all the red lights were doing on his face. After that we had to wait while he drank some apple juice to see if he kept it down and he did so they finally let us go.

The girls were with my sister Leslie! Thank you for family so close! We went and picked them up and chated for a while and then Easton began vomitting again! He did it twice this time! UGHH! I had been anxious to have Trent give Easton a priesthood blessing so we asked Leslie to call her home teacher which ended up being related to our Stake President back home (small world) He was a great man and talked to the children about blessings and then proceeded to tell us that the night previous he had given a blessing to his wife and bore his testimony about the priesthood. It was a wonderful spiritual experience. Thank you Brother Barton!

While getting into the car Trent was putting Paetan in and she scratched his eyeball he was in pain all night long to the point that he couldn't sleep very well. I was a nervous wreak and totally stressed! Now I have a cold sore to prove it! I thought that the last 3 weeks of being in California preparing for a move were stressful, man was I wrong!

Easton slept all night and that morning gave him formula and he vomitted that up as well so we called my mother-in-law and she suggested we take him to a chiropractor to get adjusted so Dustin Carlson (Trent's business partner here in SLC) referred us to one and we got in right away and it was a great experience and he seemed to take it rather well. He had already been two times previous for his ear infections so he was a little familar with the man rubbing him and stretching him around.

That morning Rebecca took my girls and so we went and picked them up and gave him a tiny bit of applesauce which he did keep down. I guess we just need to give him little amounts of food and formula at a time until he builds up again.

The last 2 days were so long and drawn out and then to top it all off on our way to my HS reunion family swim party Friday night Paetan throws up in the car! You got to be kidding me not now! She continued all that night and all night long so I ended up sleeping in the bed with her to make sure it was getting to the right place. Poor kid! She looks so pale and just so sick!

With all this going on I have to admit and Trent reminds me that it isn't so bad! It all could have been worse. We live by alot of homeless and sick people lying around and I just have counted my many blessings to be able to be healthy and to live the life I do and to have the family that I do and to appreicate everyday even if these types of days are thrown at us. We need to rely on the Lord to get us through it and to allow him into our lives.
