I've been trying to think of a good way to tell the children the gender of this baby and I am a believer of copying people's ideas but it failed! They were all the same and I've seen them done by others and decided that I didn't want to be that big of a copycat.
I decided to figure it out on my own like a big girl should and came up with this scavenger hunt idea and gave the girls clues and they had to pick a boy and girl version of the item.
Before the girls got into Target I went ahead of them and put the ultrasound picture in the last clue spot and then we began the hunt.
It was fun to see them figure it out but more importantly have a fun time doing it. Well Easton had a different plan of course. Mr. Grumpy! But I wasn't going to let him spoil my game plan.
At the end of the game Trent and I had to show them where the pictures were because they couldn't figure it out.
Items the girls ended up with after the game
The Reveal of "It's a Boy!"
Paetan is not so chipper about it she really wanted a girl and Easton well he was just grumpy still.
Boy items we ended up taking back home with us

That is a fun way to tell them! All boys this year!
Congrats! So boys aren't as fun to dress, but that'll be fun to have 2 of each! And you are still good at dressing boys :) Your scavenger hunt idea is so cute.
I love your idea! Congrats! I love Paetan's not so happy face too...I'm sure she'll be much happier when he arrives!
